The clubs yearly fundraiser! GopherRail has been on hold for a few years as the club has been moving to new club rooms and now from Minneapolis to the Saint Paul campus....
The GopherRail event started in 2003 as a multi-media railroad show with speakers giving slide shows and video presentations on all aspects of railroading. As the event grew and the club moved into a permanent home in the 1701 University building we were able to include a layout open house, a Free-mo modular layout setup, silent auctions, photo and prototype model displays and contests.
